About
Doris Vosters makes soul pop that sits somewhere near the work of Jordan Rakei and Olivia Dean, two artists she draws inspiration from. She has a knack for finding weight in small, everyday moments, and she wraps those songs in a live band sound with electronic touches layered in. There's a down to earth streak running through everything she does, and she goes looking for depth by staying plain and honest rather than dressing things up. Her live show is built around a long personal journey: letting go of perfectionism, searching for direction, and slowly becoming more resilient along the way.
