About
Dubbel D is a tribute band dedicated to De Dijk, one of the most enduring acts in Dutch pop history. The group brings together eight musicians from Zeeland, all seasoned performers, who set out to honour the songs, lyrics and musical spirit of De Dijk in as faithful a way as possible. Their sets run over two hours and draw from the full breadth of the De Dijk catalogue, covering well known singalongs and deep cuts alike, from tracks like Dansen op de vulkaan to Mag het licht uit. They bill themselves as the only De Dijk tribute band in the Benelux, a claim that reflects both the ambition of the project and the commitment the eight members bring to it.
