About
London duo Dusky, made up of Alfie Granger Howell and Nick Harriman, carved out a serious reputation in the deep house and house scenes after forming in 2011. Their debut album Stick By This got a glowing endorsement from Pete Tong, who called it one of the albums of that year, and earned heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1. Their track "Careless" hit number one on the Beatport Top 100 and stayed there for over two weeks, while "Ingrid Is a Hybrid" landed a pretty unusual honour by becoming the title screen theme for the racing game Forza Horizon 3, later reappearing in Forza Horizon 5. In 2014 they launched their own imprint, 17 Steps, debuting it with the Love Taking Over EP, which got its first play via a Special Delivery on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. DJ Magazine voted them Best British Producers in 2013. On the live front they have played at Fabric, held a residency at We Love Sundays at Space in Ibiza, and hit major festivals from Glastonbury to Ultra.
