About
Duygu Alkan is a singer songwriter based in Rotterdam who comes from Turkey. Her sound pairs melodies with an eastern flavour with tight, polished synthpop, which gives her songs a fresh and emotional feel that stays recognisably her own. She writes her own material, and her debut single marked her step onto the pop stage. It's pop with a different set of roots showing through, and that mix is what sets her apart from the usual synthpop crowd.
