Earshot built their reputation on radio friendly alternative metal with real bite, landing their debut single "Get Away" at No. 4 on the charts after relentless touring with Staind, Kid Rock, and Stone Temple Pilots. That song stayed in the Top 100 for over 60 weeks, which is no small feat, and the debut album Letting Go moved past 100,000 copies in the US despite Warner Bros. never bothering to shoot a proper music video for it. Their songs also turned up in video games like Madden NFL 2005 and Project Gotham Racing 2, giving them a reach well beyond typical rock radio. Vocalist Wil Martin has been the one constant through a revolving door of lineups and even a full breakup around 2010. The band came back, put out the EP Aftermath in 2015, and kept releasing material through the early 2020s including a cover of Alanis Morissette's "Uninvited". Their fourth full album Humaning arrived in 2025, released independently through their own label Earshot Entertainment Inc.
