About
Eat Skull are a Portland, Oregon band carving out a grimy corner of lo fi noise pop and shitgaze. Their three albums, Sick to Death and Wild and Inside on Siltbreeze, and III on Woodsist, map out a sound that feels like it was recorded in a basement with the tape deliberately set to murky. Siltbreeze is a label with serious underground credibility, and landing on Woodsist for their third record put them alongside some of the best names in scrappy indie rock. If you have a taste for slacker rock that prioritises feel over fidelity, Eat Skull are worth your time.
