About
Emir Can İğrek broke through in 2019 with 'Nalan', a song that turned the Turkish pop world onto this Tekirdağ born singer and songwriter in a serious way. Before that, he had already released his debut album 'Ağır Roman' in 2018 and been quietly building a reputation, including writing songs for established names like Funda Arar and Ferhat Göçer. That range, being both a performer and a songwriter for others, gives him a credibility that goes beyond just chart success. His sound sits in alternative pop and Turkish pop, and he has kept up a steady output of singles across the years. Collaborations with Zeynep Bastık, Cem Adrian, and Şanışer show a willingness to move across different corners of Turkish music. His second album 'Parti İptal' arrived in 2023, adding another chapter to a career that clearly has more to say.
