Epifyse is a metal band from Zwolle, made up of five musicians who bring a genuinely energetic presence to the stage. Their sound pulls from a wide range of heavy influences, including Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Judas Priest, with vocal territory that nods toward Michael Kiske. Rather than simply imitating those touchstones, the band has shaped something that sounds distinctly their own. Live, the five of them clearly enjoy what they do, and that enthusiasm tends to be contagious. They put real effort into connecting with the crowd and making each show count.
