Evil Invaders play speed metal with a ferocity that feels ripped straight from the 1980s, and they wear that influence proudly. The Belgian band from Leopoldsburg even took their name from a 1985 Razor thrash metal album, which tells you everything about where their heads are at. They formed in 2007 and spent years building a following before their 2013 EP caught enough attention to land them a deal with Napalm Records. Since signing to Napalm, they have put out a solid run of releases, starting with their debut full length Pulses of Pleasure in 2015, followed by Feed Me Violence in 2017 and Shattering Reflection in 2022. They also contributed a cover of Violence and Force to Pounding Metal, a tribute album to Exciter, which fits their love of classic heavy metal perfectly. Live album Surge of Insanity, released in 2019 with a DVD, captures just how relentless they are on stage.
