About
Also known as: BLIT, EVENing’s Newest Etoiles, 블릿, 이븐
EVNNE came out of Boys Planet, the Mnet survival show, as a group of contestants who just missed the final Zerobaseone lineup. Jellyfish Entertainment picked up seven of them, first announcing the project under the name BLIT, then swapping it for EVNNE after worries about how the original name could be read. The new one stands for "Evening's Newest Etoiles", a rising star in the night sky. They debuted in September 2023 with Target: Me and the lead single "Trouble", and picked up their first music show win with "Ugly" from the follow up EP Un: Seen. Later releases include Ride or Die with "Badder Love", Hot Mess, and Love Anecdote(s). In 2026 the group became a permanent five piece after two members left, and their single album Backtalk marked that fresh start. All five co wrote the title track, which cheekily nods to their Boys Planet days and the companies they have worked under.
