Extermination Dismemberment hold a pretty unique distinction for a band out of Minsk: they are the first and only Belarusian metal act to tour the United States. Formed in 2009, the slam death metal group built their reputation on crushing, brutal material and started pulling audiences across Europe after their debut album Butcher Basement landed in 2010. Their second record, Serial Urbicide, earned solid praise from the specialist press before lineup upheaval forced the band to regroup, with drummer Vladislav Martirosov eventually stepping up to take over vocal duties. Signing to Unique Leader Records in 2021 gave the band a proper platform, and their third album Dehumanization Protocol arrived in May 2023 to positive reviews. A run of singles and videos kept momentum going in the lead up and beyond, and a re recording of their debut, Butcher Basement Revamped, followed in late 2024. Early 2025 saw them join Aborted on the Terrifying North America tour alongside Ingested and PeelingFlesh, cementing their profile well outside the Eastern European scene.
