Extince put Dutch hip hop on the map in 1996 with Spraakwater, a track that became one of the defining classics of Nederlandstalige hip hop and shaped an entire generation of listeners. Coming out of Oosterhout, he brought a voice, style and swagger to Dutch language rap that felt genuinely his own, and the track's influence has never really faded. Thirty years on, Spraakwater is still treated as a landmark moment in Dutch music history, a reference point for the generations of artists who came after it. For a special anniversary celebration he took the stage alongside DJ DNS, a four time Dutch turntable champion, connecting two key figures from the Dutch hip hop world in one show. The event looked back across releases, stories and memories tied to the Spraakwater era, running the full arc from the original track through to anniversary editions and new chapters.
