About
Also known as: Théo Le Vigoureux
Fakear, the project of French producer Théo Le Vigoureux, has been quietly building one of the more distinctive catalogues in European electronic music since the early 2010s. Based out of Caen, he works across deep house, downtempo and indietronica, weaving together organic textures and electronic production in a way that feels warm rather than clinical. His studio albums span a solid decade of output, from Animal in 2016 through to Talisman in 2023 and Hypertalisman in 2024, with a string of EPs filling the gaps and showing off his range. The Cercle live set recorded at Tal Mixta in Malta is a good entry point if you want to hear how his layered, atmospheric sound translates in a real setting.
