Ronnie Radke wrote every song on Falling in Reverse's debut while serving time in a Nevada prison, and that backstory is baked into everything the band does. Formed in Las Vegas in 2008 under the name From Behind These Walls, the group signed to Epitaph Records and dropped The Drug in Me Is You in 2011, landing at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and eventually going gold. Radke has always been the creative center, with the lineup shifting constantly around him across five studio albums. Their sound moves between post hardcore, melodic metalcore and pop punk, and they have never been shy about blending heavy riffs with pop hooks. Fashionably Late followed in 2013 at No. 17 on the Billboard 200, and the band kept building from there through Just Like You, Coming Home and Popular Monster in 2024. Their cover of Papa Roach's Last Resort drew a notable reaction from Jacoby Shaddix himself, a moment that went viral and showed just how far the band's reach had grown.
