Frank van Etten is a Dutch singer from Stadskanaal who built his career around Dutch language pop music, releasing his debut single Pluk alle sterren in 2002 and following it up with a string of albums through the 2000s and beyond. His third album Zo ben ik from 2005 made the Album Top 100, and the single M'n kleine jongen crossed into the Single Top 100. His fourth album Mijn gevoel spent seven weeks in the Album Top 100, peaking at number 28. Van Etten has kept busy beyond recording, setting up his own record label with a studio in Sint Anthonis in 2007 and branching out into television, including a stint on the talent show Bloed, zweet en tranen on SBS6 in 2013. He released the album Niet meer die man van toen in 2015, showing a career that has kept going well past his early commercial peak.
