About
Frans Huxie is a Dutch band from Dordrecht that plays ska and ska punk with a deliberately odd streak. They like to mix punk with kitsch, and the result is a sound that is quirky, sometimes absurd, and not really like anyone else's. That off kilter attitude runs through their work, including a track like "Moenia Equus". It's music that doesn't take itself too seriously, built on skanking rhythms and punk energy but with a wink in it.
