About
Gladie is a Philadelphia indie rock band built around the songwriting partnership of Augusta Koch, formerly of Cayetana, and Matt Schimelfenig, formerly of Three Man Cannon. Their debut, Safe Sins, came out in 2020 on Lame O Records, followed by the second album Don't Know What You're in Until You're Out on Plum Records in 2022. The band pulls from emo and indie pop alongside their rock backbone, and their lineup has always drawn from the tight knit Philadelphia scene, with past members coming from Modern Baseball, Spirit of the Beehive, and Tigers Jaw. After signing to Get Better Records in late 2025 and hitting the road with Algernon Cadwallader, they announced a third album, No Need To Be Lonely, produced by Jeff Rosenstock.
