About
Goody Grace is the kind of artist who can't be pinned to one genre. He started out rapping, then folded in pop, punk, folk and alt rock until critics couldn't agree on what to call him. The Guardian went with "emo rocker", while Alternative Press said he'd graduated from punk rock and was heading for the top of alt pop. He describes his own sound as a modern evolution of blink 182, which makes sense given his biggest moment: the 2019 single "Scumbag", which featured Blink 182 and was later performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. His debut EP, Infinite, landed on Atlantic Records in 2018, and he has since built a catalogue of singles and collaborations with names like Jesse Rutherford of The Neighbourhood, G Eazy, Juicy J and Good Charlotte. He also writes for others, with credits on songs for Cody Simpson and Machine Gun Kelly. His influences range from My Chemical Romance and Misfits to Three 6 Mafia and Bob Dylan, and you can hear that mix in the songs.
