About
Guerilla Radio is a Dutch tribute band dedicated to the music of Rage Against the Machine. The project started as a one off performance in The Hague, when a group of musician friends decided the RATM catalogue deserved to be played with more conviction than it usually gets. That single show led to appearances at festivals including Sniester, Ongetemd and Zwarte Cross, after which the band went their separate ways. In 2023 the pull proved too strong to ignore, and the four musicians got back together, this time as a permanent outfit rather than an occasional project. Their aim is to capture the full force of the source material: the sharp guitar work, relentless grooves and the kind of physical, confrontational stage energy that made Rage Against the Machine a phenomenon in the first place.
