About
Hackberry is a five piece instrumental band from Groningen that blends progressive rock, stoner, metal and psychedelia into something genuinely its own. What sets them apart is the way they weave in unusual time signatures and sudden tempo shifts, giving their music a restless, shape shifting quality that keeps you on your toes. No vocals to lean on means the guitars, rhythms and textures have to do all the heavy lifting, and they pull it off.
