About
Halflives started as an alternative rock band out of Modena, Italy, but since the release of the 2021 EP "V", it has become the solo project of frontwoman Linda Battilani. The sound sits at the crossroads of alternative rock and pop rock, and the project has built a real touring reputation across Europe, opening for acts like The Faim, Against The Current, and Palaye Royale while also headlining its own runs. A standout moment came with the 2020 EP "Resilience", which included "Time Bomb" featuring Kellin Quinn from Sleeping with Sirens. Battilani keeps the momentum going with a live band that regularly performs as a trio. The 2023 EP "Inferno" pushed things further with singles like "Dynamite" and "Everybody Knows It", and in 2025 Halflives released their fifth studio album "How Much a Heart Can Take Before It Breaks", a title that pretty much speaks for itself in terms of emotional ambition.
