About
Also known as: 장다혜, 헤이즈
Heize's route to the top started with a loss. She got knocked out in the semi finals of the rap competition Unpretty Rapstar, but the exposure turned her into a singer people wanted to hear more from. Her single "Star" then went straight to number one on every real time Korean chart, and the EP /// (You, Clouds, Rain) repeated the trick, with both lead singles topping the Gaon Digital Chart. The singer, rapper and producer, who writes her own songs, blends K pop with alternative R&B and a bit of pop rap. Her first studio album, She's Fine, landed at number 11 on Billboard's list of the best K pop albums of 2019, and "We Don't Talk Together" with Giriboy, produced by Suga, climbed to number two on the Gaon chart. Since moving to Psy's label P Nation, she has put out the album Undo and, most recently, the mini album Love Virus Pt.1.
