About
Hilde Vos makes Americana and country music rooted in the landscapes of Drenthe, the Netherlands, while drawing heavily on the Nashville tradition. Her album Bellmont Boulevard was recorded at the legendary Sound Emporium studio in Nashville, Tennessee, and captures that transatlantic pull between the Dutch countryside and classic American roots music. She has collaborated with Dick van Altena, toured alongside Johan Derksen and Def Americans, and performed on Radio 1, Omroep Max and RTV Drenthe. Her accolades include the Producers Choice of the Year at the Texas Sound Music Awards and the Best International Country Band Award. Beyond performing, she organises the country, bluegrass, Americana and folk festival Country in the Wood in Coevorden. On stage she is joined by Fokke de Jong on drums, Franco Goacoia on guitar, Paul Verberne on bass, and Robert Jan van Hoogdalem on acoustic guitar and backing vocals.
