About
Hotline TNT is the brainchild of Brooklyn based guitarist and songwriter Will Anderson, who writes, records, and layers every guitar part himself before bringing it to life on stage with a rotating cast of musicians. The sound is thick and disorienting in the best way, built around dense walls of distorted guitar that put the band squarely in shoegaze territory, with touches of noise pop and alternative rock woven in. Their debut album Nineteen in Love was recorded entirely in GarageBand, no amps, no drum kit, and first released as a single unbroken YouTube video specifically to push back against streaming culture. That kind of principled weirdness helped build a devoted following. Signing to Jack White's Third Man Records led to Cartwheel in 2023, which earned a Best New Music nod from Pitchfork. Their third album Raspberry Moon followed in 2025, and the band made headlines that same year by pulling their entire catalog from Spotify.
