Puerto Rican American rapper iann dior built his name fast. After getting fired from a UPS job in 2019, he started putting songs on SoundCloud, and within months had a debut album, Industry Plant, on the shelves and on the Billboard 200. His sound sits at the crossroads of trap and emo rap, though he has shown a clear appetite for genre hopping, linking up with Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker for the pop punk track "Sick and Tired" and appearing on a Clean Bandit single. The real turning point came with "Mood", his feature on 24kGoldn's smash that caught fire on TikTok and spent eight non consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, topping charts across the UK, Australia and much of Europe along the way. The track has racked up over 1.35 billion streams on Spotify. His second album, On to Better Things, also landed on the Billboard 200, showing he is far more than a one feature wonder.
