About

Also known as: 아이콘

iKON were one of the hottest K pop debuts of 2015, and they got there the hard way: two rounds of reality survival shows on Mnet, and a final performance that reportedly drew 150,000 fan applications and crashed YG Entertainment's blog server before the lineup was even announced. The Seoul group's debut album Welcome Back went straight to number one on the Gaon Album Chart and spun off hits like "My Type", "Apology" and "Dumb & Dumber". Their biggest moment came in 2018 with "Love Scenario", which sat atop the Gaon Digital Chart for a record six weeks. Other highlights include "Rhythm Ta", "Bling Bling" and "Killing Me", all with music videos. The group is now a six piece, after leader B.I left in 2019. They parted ways with YG in December 2022, signed with 143 Entertainment, and put out their third studio album Take Off in May 2023.
