About
Also known as: アイリーワン, 아일리원
ILY:1 is a six piece K pop girl group put together by FC ENM, and a lot of the members arrived with serious survival show mileage behind them. Hana, Ara, Rona and Ririka all competed on Girls Planet 999 without making the final lineup, and Ririka had also been through Japan's Nizi Project. The mix of Korean and Japanese members is part of what makes the group's identity interesting, with Nayu leading alongside Hana, Ara, Rona, Ririka and Elva. They debuted on April 4, 2022 with the single album Love in Bloom, after a launch delayed by COVID 19 aftermath. Que Sera Sera followed that July, then the EP A Dream Of ILY:1 in January 2023, led by Twinkle, Twinkle. A new single, I My Me Mine, arrived in April 2024, and the third mini album illang:Firework came in August 2024, alongside a joint management deal with Newways Company to push the group further.
