About
Ingrid Andress writes songs that are too personal to hand off to someone else, which is exactly how her debut album Lady Like ended up in the world. Before going solo, she was already a sought after pen for hire, co writing Charli XCX's 'Boys' and tracks for Bebe Rexha and Halestorm, among others. Lady Like landed at No. 9 on the Top Country Albums chart, broke the record for the highest streaming country female debut of all time, and earned her three Grammy nominations including Best New Artist, making her the only country artist in a Big Four Grammy category that year. Her follow up Good Person arrived in 2022 and charted on both the Billboard 200 and the Top Country Albums chart. Between the two records, she scored a top five Country Airplay hit with 'Wishful Drinking' alongside Sam Hunt, which added a fourth Grammy nod to her tally. She has cited the Chicks, John Denver and Amy Grant as the artists who shaped her sound.
