About
Jack Kays built his fanbase the scrappy way, starting out with SoundCloud rap before his 2020 track "Morbid Mind" changed everything and landed him a deal with Columbia Records. From there he moved fast, putting out the album Mixed Emotions and two EPs in 2021 alone, including My Favorite Nightmares, a collaboration with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. He can play ten instruments, and that range shows across his output, which blends alt rock, emo adjacent songwriting, and raw emotional honesty. His 2024 double album Deadbeat! marked a serious step up, released in two discs and backed by the Washed Up Dried Out World Tour that took him through Australia, North America, Europe, and the UK. His brother Austin plays bass in his live band, keeping things genuinely tight knit on the road.
