About
Jana Mila, the Amsterdam singer songwriter behind the stage name, has been quietly building something real since her teens. Her single 'When Times Get Rough', written when she was just 16, clocked over 2 million Spotify streams and eventually became a MAXI single on NPO Radio 5. Signed to Ilse DeLange's Spark Records from 2020, she worked alongside artists like Will Knox and Jake Etheridge, performed during DeLange's theatre tours, and released her debut album 'Chameleon' in 2024 through American label New West Records, with Nashville roots and a Dutch release on Spark Records following right after. Two tracks from that album, 'Somebody New' and 'I Wasn't Gonna', both hit the TopSong chart on NPO Radio 2. Lately she has been sharing acoustic versions of several songs, including 'Like Only Lovers Could', 'Rosie', and 'In Between', giving fans a closer look at her folk leaning sound.
