Jessie J built her reputation as a songwriter before most people even knew her name, penning hits like Miley Cyrus's "Party in the U.S.A." before stepping into the spotlight herself. Her debut single "Do It like a Dude" shot to number two in the UK, and "Price Tag" topped the charts in nineteen countries. That debut album, Who You Are, made her the first British female artist to score six top ten singles from a single studio album, a record that tells you everything about how relentless that run was. She mixes soul vocals with contemporary R&B, electropop and hip hop, and her style has always been a little hard to pin down in the best way. Her third album Sweet Talker arrived on the back of "Bang Bang", which debuted at number one in the UK and went multi platinum worldwide. In 2018 she won the sixth season of Singer on Hunan TV in China, beating out professional singers in a competition that gave her a whole new fanbase.
