About
Once a key member of K pop group Miss A under JYP Entertainment, Meng Jia has carved out a solid solo career since leaving the group in 2016. Miss A launched in 2010 and built a strong following, and Jia was part of that run right up to their final album Colors in 2015. After signing with Banana Culture Music, she hit the ground running with her debut solo single "Drip" and followed it up with "Who's That Girl," which climbed to No. 6 on Billboard China. She kept the momentum going with collaborations like "Mood" featuring Got7's Jackson Wang, and picked up the Breakthrough Female Artist of the Year award at the 5th Annual V Chart Awards in 2017. More recently she launched her own personal brand, released the Chinese style dance single "Oriental," and held her debut solo concert in Guangzhou in 2023, performing tracks from her EP JIALAND.
