About
Also known as: J.O.C., John O Callaghan, John O' Callaghan, John O'Callaghan, John O'Calllaghan
From Navan, Ireland, John O'Callaghan has built a serious reputation in the trance world over the past two decades, releasing music under his own name and aliases including Joint Operations Centre, Mannix, and Henrik Zuberstein. His best known tracks include "Big Sky" with vocalist Audrey Gallagher, whose Agnelli and Nelson remix was voted Tune of the Year by A State of Trance listeners in 2007, and "Find Yourself" featuring Sarah Howells, which drew support from Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, and Gareth Emery among others. He launched the Subculture sublabel on Black Hole Recordings in 2010, and it has remained a key outlet for his sound ever since. With studio albums like Something to Live For and Never Fade Away to his name, plus a string of collaborations with Bryan Kearney, Aly and Fila, and Leon Bolier, O'Callaghan keeps a busy output. His 2025 track "Music Takes Me Higher" shows he is still very much at it.
