About
Jooyoung got his start the internet way: a cover of George Benson's "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" on RealCollabo's YouTube channel, which led to his debut single "Same as You" later that same year. The South Korean singer songwriter then moved from RealCollabo to Belikewater Records and on to Starship Entertainment, writing for others along the way, including helping B1A4's CNU with his first solo song. He's a regular collaborator in the Korean scene, working with the likes of Hyolyn, Kim Feel, Lyn and K.Will, and he even landed a spot on the TV show Breakers, where he made it to the semi finals. Releases like the mini album Fountain, which dropped as a surprise after he finished his military service, kept him busy. These days he works independently. In January 2024 he put out his first full length album, Sphere, sung entirely in English and mixing R&B, hip hop, rock and electronic sounds.
