Josh Groban

About

Also known as: Josh Groben, Joshua Winslow Groban, ジョシュ・グローバン

Josh Groban has one of those voices that stops people mid sentence. The Los Angeles born singer built his name in classical crossover and operatic pop, and by 2007 he was the best selling artist in the United States, with over 22 million records sold at that point and more than 25 million worldwide by 2022. His first four solo albums all went multi platinum, driven by tracks like "You Raise Me Up" and "You're Still You", the latter first heard when he played a recurring character on Ally McBeal. Beyond the studio, Groban has proven himself a serious stage performer. He earned a Tony Award nomination for his 2016 Broadway debut as Pierre Bezukhov in Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812, then picked up a second nomination playing the title role in a 2023 revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He also took on the Beast in the 2022 television special Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration, showing he is equally at home on screen.
