Josh Ross is a Canadian country artist from Waterdown, Ontario, who went from varsity football to Nashville and ended up making serious waves on both sides of the border. Signed jointly to Universal Music Canada and Mercury Nashville, he built his reputation through a string of charting singles including "On a Different Night", "Trouble", "Red Flags", and "Ain't Doin' Jack", earning a debut slot at the Grand Ole Opry in 2023 and opening for acts like Nickelback and Bailey Zimmerman along the way. His 2024 EP Complicated turned out to be a genuine breakthrough moment, landing him the Juno Award for Country Album of the Year and five wins at the Canadian Country Music Awards including Entertainer of the Year. He also took home the Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award at the CMA Awards. His debut full length album Later Tonight followed in September 2025, and recent uploads like "Movin' On" and "Burn Back" show he has kept the momentum going.
