Josiah Queen's debut album The Prodigal shot straight to number one on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart and became the most streamed debut from a new artist signed with Capitol Christian Music Group, a pretty remarkable start. The title track earned a gold certification from the RIAA and landed a GMA Dove Award nomination for Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year, while Queen himself was up for New Artist of the Year. Billboard's year end charts named him the top new Christian artist of 2024. He has since signed with Capitol CMG and put out his second studio album Mt. Zion in 2025, with collaborations alongside Brandon Lake along the way. In 2026 he released "Demons", a track rooted in the theme of spiritual warfare, keeping his output steady and his sound firmly in the contemporary Christian space.
