About
Also known as: Jeon Jung-kook, Jungkook, 전정국, 정국
Jung Kook turned his solo debut into a record breaking moment. His 2023 single "Seven", featuring Latto, opened at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. charts, a first for a Korean solo artist. It also became the fastest song ever to pass 1 billion streams on Spotify. The follow up, "3D" with Jack Harlow, landed at number five on both the Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. Before that, he was best known as the singer in BTS, where he fronted three solo tracks: the pop of "Begin", the future bass of "Euphoria" and the R&B of "My Time". He also has production credits on "Love is Not Over" and "Magic Shop". Outside the band he featured on Charlie Puth's "Left and Right" and became the first South Korean artist to release an official FIFA World Cup soundtrack song, "Dreamers", which he performed at the 2022 opening ceremony.
