About
Jyoty's 2019 Boiler Room set racked up over 5 million plays across YouTube and TikTok, and it's easy to hear why. The London based, Indian Dutch DJ has built her reputation on wildly eclectic sets that barrel through baile funk, amapiano, afrobeats, dancehall, jungle, grime, garage, neo soul and hip hop, often within the same hour. Her weekly residency on Rinse FM, running since 2017, became a platform for early interviews with artists like Cardi B and Greentea Peng long before they were household names. Beyond the decks, Jyoty launched Homegrown in 2022, a no phones, no announced lineup club night that has sold out in London, Amsterdam, New York and Barcelona. She has also run DJ workshops for South Asian women in both the UK and India, and served as music supervisor for brands like Prada and Jacquemus. In 2025 she led the Homegrown crew at Red Bull's Culture Clash at Drumsheds, and headlined Alexandra Palace with her one night event Jyoty's Palace, making her one of very few DJs to top the bill at that venue.
