About
Also known as: Kale Moses Itkonen
Vancouver's kmoe has been quietly building one of the more interesting catalogs in the hyperpop and glitch space, blending electronic production with shoegaze textures in a way that feels genuinely distinctive. After years of DIY releases and collaborations within the Noheart collective, he signed to DeadAir Records and put out his debut album K1 in 2025, which landed well critically for exactly that blend of genres. His collaborative credits are a solid indicator of where he sits in the scene. He appeared as the only featured artist on Jane Remover's Teen Week EP, contributing to the fan favorite track Homeswitcher, and has worked alongside Ericdoa, Quannnic, and Quadeca. His 2020 EP Flutter showed off a looser, more versatile side, with the laid back alt pop track Iced Tea standing out as an early fan favorite. K1 feels like the moment everything clicked into place.
