About
Kobosil built his name on a sound that sits somewhere between darkness and physical force, blending EBM, noise, and industrial textures into fast, aggressive techno that hits hard on a dancefloor. The Berlin native got his first big break with a remix of Barker and Baumecker's track "Silo", released on Berghain's own Ostgut Ton label in early 2013. That opened the door to a residency at Berghain itself, which he held from 2014 to 2019, and a debut album, "We Grow, You Decline", in 2016. He has kept busy on multiple fronts since then. His label, now called R Label Group, hosted other artists before he wound it down at the end of 2023 and co founded a new venture called Tote Sonne with fellow German DJ Klangkuenstler. He also teamed up with Berlin rapper Ufo361 for a couple of tracks, including "Lucifer" on his 2022 EP RK5. More recently he has been dropping new material including "Radiance" and "Faded Generation", keeping the pressure up on the harder end of the techno spectrum.
