About
Koen Vael is a Dutch country artist drawing on the sounds of Willie Nelson, George Strait and the Eagles. His music leans into authentic American country, built around pedal steel and fiddle, and he studied at the Rock City Institute in Eindhoven to sharpen his craft. He plays guitar, piano and drums. On Spotify he has six tracks to his name, with the catchy Good As Gone standing out as a fan favourite. Nashville is where Vael ultimately wants to be based, and his output so far suggests he is building steadily toward that.
