About
KORVO is a progressive rock trio whose sound sits somewhere between cinematic atmosphere and raw emotional intensity. The band was founded by guitarist Jerom Slowikowski, with Celine van Veldhoven handling vocals, bass, and songwriting duties. Drummer Patrick Doppenberg rounds out the lineup, bringing layered grooves and shifting time signatures that give the music its restless, propulsive feel. Celine's vocals lean toward pop clarity while the compositions underneath them go somewhere more complex and darker. The overall sound is melancholic but not without hope, filmic in scope and built on technically demanding arrangements. The band released the EP 'The Last Viable', which captures that balance between weight and ambition that defines their work.
