About
Krackfree Soundsystem came out of Eindhoven with a clear sense of purpose: build a sound system from scratch and do it properly. Every stack in the rig has been researched, designed and hand built by the crew themselves, which puts them in a different category from most sound system collectives. The result is a setup they describe as a one of a kind creation, one that keeps evolving through ongoing experimentation and refinement. Rooted in reggae and dub, Krackfree sits squarely in the tradition of sound system culture, prioritising powerful, crystal clear audio and the kind of deep collective listening experience that tradition is built on. Over more than a decade they have become a fixture of Eindhoven's underground scene and have collaborated with events including Sonic Boom, cementing a reputation as a crew that takes both the music and the craft of sound seriously.
