About
Lady Starlight, the New York DJ and performer born Colleen Martin, built her reputation in the clubs of the Lower East Side before most people knew her name. She teamed up with a then unknown Lady Gaga for a weekly party called New York Street Revival and Trash Dance, where the two lit hairspray cans on fire and go go danced their way through songs from the seventies and eighties. That led to their act Lady Gaga and the Starlight Revue, which earned a spot at Lollapalooza in 2007 and helped shape the outrageous visual identity Gaga would later become famous for. Away from that partnership, Starlight has built her own discography, releasing the EPs Untitled, Which One of Us Is Me?, W, and 3 Days From May between 2017 and 2020. She also performs alongside Surgeon, the British techno artist Anthony Child.
