About
Lauren Jauregui came up as one fifth of Fifth Harmony, the girl group whose single 'Work From Home' became the first top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit from a girl group in eight years. When Fifth Harmony went on hiatus in 2018, she had already been quietly building a solo identity, collaborating with Marian Hill, Halsey, Steve Aoki and Ty Dolla Sign. Her debut solo single 'Expectations' came out on Columbia Records that same year. Since going independent, Jauregui has been carving out a pop sound very much her own. Her debut EP Prelude arrived in 2021, followed by In Between in 2023, with recent releases including 'Trust Issues' and 'Always Love'. She is openly bisexual and has been vocal about LGBTQ equality, something that fed directly into her collaboration with Halsey on 'Strangers', which Billboard called a 'long overdue bisexual milestone in mainstream music'.
