Lillie Mae, born Lillie Mae Rische, is a Nashville based country and Americana singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist whose fiddle playing has put her in some seriously impressive company. She toured with Jack White as part of his all female band on his Blunderbuss and Lazaretto runs, appeared on all three of his solo records, and even played alongside Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard in the documentary The American Epic Sessions. Haggard actually picked up her fiddle and played it on the show, which says plenty. Her own records are worth your time too. Her 2017 debut Forever and Then Some came out on Third Man Records, produced by White, and her 2019 follow up Other Girls shifted gears a little, recorded at Nashville's RCA Studio A with producer Dave Cobb. More recently she put out a music video for "Razor Love" with her family in 2023, keeping that tight knit Rische clan energy very much alive. When she is not on the road she can still be found playing Layla's in downtown Nashville with her siblings.
