Lilly Hiatt has been carving out her own corner of Americana since her 2012 debut Let Down, proving she's far more than a famous last name. Her third album Trinity Lane, produced by Michael Trent of Shovels and Rope and recorded on Johns Island in South Carolina, is probably her most talked about record, a self described rock and roller even when the songs go to dark places. Royal Blue before it showed her stretching her sound with synthesizers alongside pedal steel, recorded in full analog warmth. She's shared stages with John Prine, Margo Price, and Drive by Truckers, and once teamed up with Aaron Lee Tasjan to cut covers of Guy Clark and John Prine for a Third Man Records 45. Her discography now runs to six solo albums, with Forever arriving in 2025 on New West Records.
