Lina Makoul made history in 2013 as the first Palestinian to win The Voice Israel, taking 62% of the vote in the final at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv. Born in Ohio and raised in Acre, she sings across five languages and blends indie pop sensibilities with a vocal presence that clearly translates on a big stage. After winning the show, she went on to open for Queen + Adam Lambert in Tel Aviv and then supported Little Mix across all 37 arena dates of the Glory Days Tour in the UK and Ireland. Her debut single "This Ain't About You" cracked the UK Music Week Club and Pop Charts top 10, and the follow up "Dance Sucker" climbed to number 4 on the Official Club Chart. That second single was a taste of her 2017 album Walking on a Tightrope, produced by Jerry Wonda and Tal Forer. More recently she joined Saint Levant's Deira tour, opening shows across North America and Europe.
