About
Little Grandad blend americana, slacker rock and indie rock into something that feels lived in and unhurried, which makes sense for a London band that started out playing other people's songs at an open mic night at The Windmill in Brixton. The four piece, made up of brothers Harry and Jack Lower alongside Ned Ashcroft and James Brennan, signed to Communion Music and released their debut singles "Unmasked" and "Sleepwalking" in May 2026, produced by Kev Jones at The Church and The Communion Studios. They had already built up road experience supporting Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Cardinals and The Orchestra (For Now) before any of their own music was out, which says something about how the band operates. Their third single "Babe, We've Run Out Of Time" followed in July 2026.
